Still waiting for last Friday's Maria Butina-J.D. Gordon story to be treated as the blockbuster it is. Gordon was effectively Trump's number-two man on national security and he was emailing and going on dates with an active Russian spy 6 weeks before the election. Media, wake up!
2/ We also have Gordon changing the GOP platform to benefit Putin at the RNC and lying about it, then saying Trump ordered it; we have him taking many trips to Hungary, where the FSB has its European HQ, in 2015 and 2016; we have his bizarre transition "non-hire." Media, wake up!
3/ All we saw on media was some analyst saying on TV—with an eyeroll!—"he took her to a Styx concert." Are you serious? Butina made an obvious play to approach, seduce and gain influence with a top Trump NatSec man who mysteriously went to where the FSB's EU HQ is post-election.
4/ Because Trump used Mike Flynn and Erik Prince as "shadow advisers" in the campaign (we now know why—because their clandestine activities needed to be shielded from public scrutiny) below you're seeing the #1 and #2 men in Trump's NatSec apparatus. Gordon—#2—ran the day-to-day. 
5/ Mike Flynn has been convicted of a federal felony; he illegally negotiated with the Russians. Erik Prince has been caught lying to Congress; he illegally negotiated with the Russians. Sessions lied to Congress repeatedly. And *now* we learn that J.D. Gordon was *also* in deep.
PS/ The "Styx eyeroll" came from—if I'm not mistaken—@AllMattNYT. I watched him discussing J.D. Gordon's contacts with Butina—and Butina's emails to Torshin confirming her domestic spycraft—and it bore no relationship to anything I'd read in the news about those stories. Bizarre.
