Transport Spokesperson @RobertTroyTD, Spokesperson on Dublin @JohnLahart & Fingal based Senator @LorrCliff launch our policy to improve cycling infrastructure in Ireland.

“We are proposing a number of new measures aimed at greatly increasingly participation in cycling in Ireland such as the appointment of Cycling Officers to every Local Authority.” - @RobertTroyTD

“In the past 10 years the membership of Cycling Ireland has increased by almost 700%. Between 2011 & 2016 there was a 43% rise in the number of people cycling to work in Dublin yet Govt spending on cycling infrastructure has fallen sharply.” -@RobertTroyTD

Our proposals include:

• Increase segregated cycle lanes ✔️
• Establish a Specilist Cycling Division within the NTA ✔️
• Appoint Local Authority Cycling Officers ✔️
• Expand bike sharing schemes ✔️
• Conduct a national review of speed limits✔️
