I guess there has been some confusion. Some people seem to think I will recant my positions on fire mitigation and Monsanto in order to retain them as followers. Make no mistake, I don’t care, at all, how many followers this account has. I make $0 off of it, and I’m anonymous.
Frankly, this account is generally just a unwanted distraction and a pain in the ass. But I’m not going to turn away from the opportunity to speak the plain truth as I see it. If you don’t like it, then please unfollow at your earliest convenience.
Regarding fire mitigation: Logging of health green trees is a scam. Mowing brush prevents catastrophic crown fires. If you refuse to accept that, we don’t have anything to talk about. I’ve been in fighting western fires for 20 years.. have you??
Regarding Monsanto: they have deliberately sabotaged the food supply to install their monopoly, at all costs.. specifically the health of the consumer. If you refuse to accept that, we don’t have anything to talk about. Please, please unfollow and don’t come back.
My belief is that the modern food supply is fundamentally flawed, and that the viable fix is small scale farming and local markets. Individuals producing food and selling/exchanging within the community. Yes, this requires major changes to your diet, and lots of effort..
Communities that grow their own food don’t go hungry, and communities that generate their own power don’t go dark. Local food supply, and local power grid. These are the foundations on which to develop a sustainable community, and sustainable future.
Now, there should not be any more confusion on those key items. Beyond that, I believe in Public Land. Please consider these positions when deciding if you want to follow this account.
