So many things in the EO seem super nefarious, but this really feels dangerous: “(iii) Review land designations and policies that may limit active forest management and increase the risk of catastrophic wildfires;” REVIEW DESIGNATIONS??
And the #EndangeredSpeciesAct is here of course: “(vii) Identify and assess methods, including methods undertaken pursuant to section 3(b)(iv) of this order, to more effectively and efficiently streamline consultation under the Endangered Species Act;”
I spy “Clean Water Act”, “Clean Air Act”, “other applicable Federal environmental laws” and “National Environmental Policy Act” in here..
“(c) In conjunction with establishment of goals, and by no later than March 31, 2019, the Secretaries shall identify salvage and log recovery options from lands damaged by fire during the 2017 and 2018 fire seasons, insects, or disease.”

I’ve been asked what my objection to this order are. I’m all for fuels reduction. I saw mow, mow and mow! My problem is that it was written by a gang of criminals with a clearly stated position of disposing of and transferring our #PublicLands. 1/2

I am not a lawyer, but I have been trained by the USFS to interpret laws and regulations and enforce them. And I believe this EO may be the official start of @GOP gutting our #PublicLands. We MUST #KeepItPublic at all costs.
