We cannot guess what the @DOTrPH and @MIAAGovPH are doing to fully restore NAIA ops. But I sure hope they enforce the Air Passenger Bill of Rights to the fullest extent possible for all affected travelers — esp those who come from the provinces and with connecting flights
@SenGracePOE Please include in your investigation, an inquiry on how the agencies of government enforced the Air Passenger Bill of Rights re provisions on flight cancellations, delays and immediate compensation.
Imagine the effect of NAIA runway mess to travelers who came from Ilocos or Bicol, or the Visayas or Mindanao just to catch a flight at NAIA, our main international gateway. They’ve been out for days. They left and started traveling at least a day or 2 before their NAIA flights.
