This was an automatic. The overpromises were empty theater.
1/
All Michael Cohen had to do to likely make the case disappear *whenever he wanted* was to simply say “Okay. You got it.”
Tear up the NDA. Case evaporates.
2/
Cohen has now effectively done that.
Stormy “wins” what she asked for. Let out of her NDA. May have to pay back the money.
3/
The client won. Mr. Look-At-Me lost.
4/
This automatic and entirely foreseeable outcome was one of them.
If Avenatti is as smart as he claims to be, he knew (just like I did even as a non-attorney) that this case would go bye-bye whenever Cohen chose.
5/
There’d be no Trump deposition or drama-filled verdict.
That was all bluster and self-promotion.
This was a minor civil matter with no future ‘BOOM’.
Big talk. Empty theater.
Know anyone else like that?
6/
All Stormy got was a voided NDA and a $130k bill to pay.
That’s it, folks.
Avenatti’s ‘big case’ just reached the point where the promise of a bang turns into the reality of a whimper.
7/
Does a lot of running on the beach for the cameras.
Way more sizzle than steak.
p.s. remember when Avenatti claimed he had three other clients with NDAs too?
Funny. They never materialized either...

His quick take.
