Ok I need to tell you all a story with highs and lows, horror and joy. It all transpired since 5pm. You ready? Here we go.

I went to get squid from the airport today. I have done this many times, it’s easy peasy. Sure it was pouring but squid are already wet who cares.

I get to the cargo bay where I pick up the squid. I bang on the door, no one answers. It says the buzzer has moved outside. I search in the dim light and the rain through puddles but it’s nowhere to be found. Two totally wet socks lager, I find it, buzz it, nobody answers.

In the distance I see a cracked door. HELL YES! I declare. I have found an entry point!

I push it open. It looks desserted inside...but the lights are on. I walk toward where I know the squid normally are.

And I find...

Sure it’s probably just rowdy teenagers who wrote this, but I was freaked the F out anyway. Also this means the squid are NOT where they’re supposed to be.

I call every number the airport has online, nobody answers. I go to the post office, they don’t know what’s going on.

I drive around the airport trying to make sense of it all, other bullshit transpires but it’s not important. I finally illegally park my car and run into the main terminal and ask wtf is going on to American Airlines.

THIS ADDRESS does not exist on the map. I try following the instructions, THERE IS NO WARTHOG ROAD. I am wet and STARVING, because this whole adventure took FOREVER. I finally find the place after driving around like a damn fool. I get the squid.

This is where things get better.

I get back to school. @spencernyholm has bought us pizza. God bless him. I am so hungry. I eat pizza like a wild animal. @asuria25 and @kampamycin take the squid. I drive home. Hallelujah.

I came home and two FANTASTIC Things had come in the mail.
