@jennycohn1 nothing about the voting machines specifically - but that they let certain candidates know, those candidates then pulled back their efforts, and... some other manipulation that you can follow along with here:

1/ After reading the complaint against latest Russian national charged w/ meddling in US politics, I don't know who should be more embarrassed: the DOJ officials who wrote it or the journalists, pundits, & politicians taking it seriously: (justice.gov/usao-edva/pres…)
2/ The defendant is accused of being the chief accountant for the clickbait Russian troll farm IRA's Project Lakhta, whose audience included the US. The complaint lays out her actions -- "meticulous record-keeping" 😱 -- w/o even explaining how that's criminal (understandable!):
3/ The apparent criminal conduct here is that Project Lakhta was a part of a Conspiracy against the US, fooling people w/ fake social media accounts and divisive messaging. Let's look at some highlights....
