1. The news of the federal troops being sent to the border is another example of fake news. It's been reported that 5,000 federal troops are being sent and that that they will play a supporting role for the border patrol.
2. Why is this fake? Because it's not fact. It may prove to be true in the future but as of now it's not. It's the media's opinions of what is going to happen. The Pentagon has said any figures about troops deployment are "premature"
3. The duties and responsibilities the troops( that may or may not be sent) have not been made public either. The media is comparing the national guard actions to that of federal troops. The two aren't the same and have different rules they can follow.
4. In other words, the entire narrative is fake news because the media have no idea what is going to happen. They may turn out to be right or wrong. The point is they have no freaking idea, yet. They are writting articles as if they do. They are just making crap up.
5. The crap they make up may be based on educated guesses and historic actions but it's still made up crap. The media's failure to explain this is what makes this story fake news.

Update. It is being reported that President Trump will give a speech on Tuesday to explain everything that is going to happen. Then we will know the real news. Until then it remains a guess.
