Hear me out here...

The vast, vast majority of TV ads you see are planned and bought by media companies owned by five holding companies.

WPP, Omnicom, IPG, Havas and Publicis.

1/
Those five companies’ media entities recommend where their clients’ ads will run.

They develop media plans with recommendations on which networks to include, which timeslots to target, which shows to advertise on.

2/
Those companies are all headquartered in New York with offices in select other major cities. Their staffs skew very liberal.

Fox News is reliant on those firms.

If they advise their clients against including Fox News, their clients listen.

3/
Maybe it’s time to target the media planning and buying side of the equation.

Go to the source. The headwaters. The people who control where the vast majority of ad dollars go.

Just a thought.
