1/ It’s time for @fairtaxman’s constitutional lesson.

The Founders DELIBERATELY made D.C. 5 mi x 5 mi = 25 sq. miles.

It was to restrict the size of the federal gov’t.

They would ABHOR the amount of land now held.

Knew that privately held land would hold the feds in check.
2/ Hence, upholding @BrowningMachine ’s policy of NO gov’t workers voting would quickly clean out places like D.C.

Either work for the feds or vote. Not both.

@BrowningMachine 3/ When the constitution was passed, there was no standing army.

Feds empowered the citizens to guard the country through the 2nd amendment.

“Enemies foreign and domestic”. That included the gov’t.
@BrowningMachine 4/ And that little thing called the 10th Amendment?

It made states capable of defending their own borders.

A foreign nation, to attack the United States, would have to conquer ALL FIFTY STATES.

Contrast this with the EU.
@BrowningMachine 5/ There was a little video released showing an “enemy” attacking someone. That someone is the EU. And that someone turns in 27 someone’s.

That was the ideal of the EU.

But what happened was the strong centralized put all 27 members UNDER THE THUMB of the EU.
@BrowningMachine 6/ The bulk strength being in states and individuals is what the EU SHOULD have been, but the instituted the opposite.

27 nations forced to work for an unaccountable overlord.

No wonder the Brits wanted #Brexit. Too bad that it’s too late.
@BrowningMachine 7/ The senate was crafted to represent the states with the state legislatures picked their senators.

This protected the states from implementing goofball mandates coming from the people.

No coincidence that federal spending soared after the 19th amendment.
@BrowningMachine 8/ Democrats LOVE yaking about “popularity”. That’s because popularity is the easiest to rig.

When was the last time you felt really comfortable with the winners of Prom King/Queen or high school student gov’t?

Everyone always promises ice cream, whether or not they can deliver
@BrowningMachine 9/ The pure fact that politicians migrated from calling us a “republic” to a “democracy” in the early 1900s is itself an attack on the fundamentals of this nation.

“Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea” anyone?

Every despotic ruler touts “democracy” in their title.
@BrowningMachine 10/ The Founders started off with NO WELFARE.

It was a given that you don’t just give hand outs.

We’ve known this since 100 AD courtesy of Juvenal, who phrased this as “panem et circenses”.

Better known as “bread and circuses”.

For proof, go and watch The Running Man.
@BrowningMachine 11/ The Founders knew power would grow. It’s why they put every conceivable check and balance into the constitution.

And the progressives have been tearing them out over the past 100+ years.
@BrowningMachine 12/ No one that receives hand outs should be in charge of the gov’t.

People giving handouts should not be allowed access to other people’s money.

If you don’t understand why, then read this FREE comic book:

@BrowningMachine 13/ In case I swung by that too quickly, stop reading this thread and READ THIS FREE COMIC BOOK!

It perfectly covers what has gone wrong from a political/economic perspective since the early 1900s.

👍
@BrowningMachine 14/ The people giving handouts, promising loans, telling us who is “mean”, and offering to be our saviors are NOT YOUR FRIENDS.

They are people salivating over controlling everything.

And they can only have it when YOU surrender it.
@BrowningMachine 15/ It’s why @BrowningMachine ’s little ballot reform is key.

If the Founders knew what would happen, they would have made property ownership a REQUIREMENT to voting.

Only people with skin in the game should be voting.

@BrowningMachine 16/ Now I invite anyone to tell me how this is wrong.

THE END
