Understanding the mystery of praise, By Pastor David Oyedepo

Every mystery of the kingdom delivers to us, by our understanding of it. For it is the right of believers to understand God's kingdom mystery, without which there will be no benefit.
"And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:" Mark 4:11.

Jesus made it clear, that believers are met to understand kingdom mystery.
Praise is one of these kingdom mysteries, which when we do with understanding, gives us great profits. The bible says, For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. Psalm47:7. We are to praise God with understanding, to fully reap all its benefits.
We are commanded to praise God with understanding. Know that no commandment of scriptures is for fun, but for our profiting. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2Timothy 3:16
All scriptures have benefits that accrue to us, each time we obey them. The command to praise, also comes with huge benefits. So what are the benefits of praising God? When our praise goes up to God in heaven, his power is released in us to destroy all chains and prison doors.
We saw this when Paul and Silas praised God; the chains on them and the prison doors, where they were kept, got broken and opened up. Acts 16:25-26. Praise brought them out of chains and prison, into liberty.
Also, when we praise God, he takes over our battle. Jehoshaphat, when surrounded by three great nations for destruction; went into praising God, and God took over the battle, on his behalf. 2Chronicles20:22. Praising God in the face of battle, makes God takes it, for our victory.
With praise we can move from the valley low, to the mountain top; from the basement of life to the realm of glorious living. The scriptures says, "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail,...
and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Sovereign LORD is my strength;...
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. Habakkuk 3:17-19.

When we praise God, glory goes to him, while the benefits of living a glorious life comes to us.
May the grace to praise God with understanding, be multiplied unto us in Jesus name. Do stay glorious.

When we praise God, these two things happens, By Pastor David Oyedepo Jr.

What takes place when we praise God is that, he cleans and heals us and he silenced our mockers among other things.
In Matthew 21:8-14 people praised Jesus on his way to Jerusalem that the city was moved. Jesus was ushered into Jerusalem with praise and he went in a cleaned the temple and he healed the sick.
Same happens to us today. When we praise God, he cleans us (the temple) of God and heals us. Reason we should never stop praising him.

Reason Apostle Paul said;
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18
To know the hope and profit from the glory that Christ is in us, spiritual understanding is needed
Jesus said; "And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands and grasps it; he indeed bears fruit and yields, some a hundred times [as much as was sown], some sixty [times as much], and some thirty.”

Whatever we focus our mind in becomes the consumer of our time and the shaper of our destiny. That means destiny is not a one off thing that must be, irrespective of what we do or do not. How and what we use our time and opportunity for leads to our destiny... "
Hence the bible says, "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all" Ecclesiastes 9:11.
Meaning, whatever we use our time for and use our chances (the opportunity) for, determines how we turn out in life; whether as a success or a failure. Also, remember the days are evil, which contend with these our time and chances. and the only thing that defeats evil is God.

Please don’t let my stories make you think I don’t pray without Oyedepo or Adefarasin. I do all the time. And God answers. Sometimes I don’t even pray. I just get up and do what I need to do and it gets done. I have a personal relationship with God.
But my tweets are about the times in my career I was lost. I couldn’t bring myself out of my own mess and failure , either through self help or my own prayers. Without meeting these men , in my house by myself they helped me. True talk.
