When we praise God, these two things happens, By Pastor David Oyedepo Jr.

What takes place when we praise God is that, he cleans and heals us and he silenced our mockers among other things.
In Matthew 21:8-14 people praised Jesus on his way to Jerusalem that the city was moved. Jesus was ushered into Jerusalem with praise and he went in a cleaned the temple and he healed the sick.
Same happens to us today. When we praise God, he cleans us (the temple) of God and heals us. Reason we should never stop praising him.
Also, in 2Samuel6:14-23, when David song and dances before the Lord, he silenced Micah who mocked him. She became barren all through her life.
There is none like God. Exodus 15:11, he is fearful in praises and does wonders, when praised. So as we praise God he does wonders in our lives, that our mockers get silenced. Amen!

Every mystery of the kingdom delivers to us, by our understanding of it. For it is the right of believers to understand God's kingdom mystery, without which there will be no benefit.
"And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:" Mark 4:11.

Jesus made it clear, that believers are met to understand kingdom mystery.
Praise is one of these kingdom mysteries, which when we do with understanding, gives us great profits. The bible says, For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. Psalm47:7. We are to praise God with understanding, to fully reap all its benefits.

Reason Apostle Paul said;
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18
To know the hope and profit from the glory that Christ is in us, spiritual understanding is needed
Jesus said; "And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands and grasps it; he indeed bears fruit and yields, some a hundred times [as much as was sown], some sixty [times as much], and some thirty.”

Whatever we focus our mind in becomes the consumer of our time and the shaper of our destiny. That means destiny is not a one off thing that must be, irrespective of what we do or do not. How and what we use our time and opportunity for leads to our destiny... "
Hence the bible says, "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all" Ecclesiastes 9:11.
Meaning, whatever we use our time for and use our chances (the opportunity) for, determines how we turn out in life; whether as a success or a failure. Also, remember the days are evil, which contend with these our time and chances. and the only thing that defeats evil is God.

Second, and more importantly, the Fifth Amendment only applies to the production of documents when *the production itself*—the fact that the person has access to the material described—would be “testimonial” and potentially incriminating.
That is, you normally can’t invoke the 5th to avoid a subpoena for specific documents, even if the *contents* of the documents would incriminate you, unless *the fact that you even have the documents* would be incriminating. (“Produce your original copy of the ransom letter...”)

Two things necessary for responsible coverage of the #IranDeal today:

First: Pressing the president and his team on WHY break the agreement now? What about it, *specifically,* is a problem?

If the answer is "it's not permanent," then why not extend it, rather than kill it? 1//
If the answer is about missiles or other bad behavior, then "how does leaving the deal make [that thing] any better?" Ex, "Couldn't they build a bomb to put on those missiles now?" or "Isn't it harder to stop their destabilizing behavior if they have a nuke?" 2/?
It's rather transparent that the arguments *for breaking our word aren't any good. There are credible arguments that the deal is imperfect, but none that the world WITHOUT the deal is better than the world WITH the deal. Leaving doesn't make anything better. 3/?

Two things are true:

1. Social justice communities should be as welcoming as possible of good-faith newcomers who are trying to learn.

2. The burden of onboarding new people disproportionately falls on the most marginalized women in any given space, and that's a problem.
When folks get annoyed and tell someone to google, it may not be because they want to score points for trashing people. They may be exhausted with the dynamic whereby their own activism constantly takes a back seat to the gendered emotional labor of welcoming newcomers.
Educating people on the basics is VITAL work. But it needs to be fairly distributed. If it always falls to the most marginalized people, they have less time and energy to engage in other ways--including leadership.
