1/ Some tips on writing that you never asked.
2/ First thing to know that it takes YEARS to build an audience.

My first blog post was when I was 15 years old. And I’ve been writing more or less regularly.
3/ Write regularly even if you have no audience. Because without writing, you will have no audience.

It sounds obvious but I know many aspiring writers who want their articles to be shared widely in the first go.
4/ Write first and foremost for yourself.

Writing helps to clarify ideas in your head. If your head feels lighter after writing something, that’s a good outcome.
5/ Pick topics and angles that nobody is talking about.

World needs more unique points of view and not just rehashing the old ideas.

If you feel you have nothing new to say, read until you have something unique.
6/ If you are feeling lazy, just write the title and an outline. What to say is the hardest part.

Once it is clear, your fingers will churn out words pretty fast.
7/ Write regularly even if nobody other than you reads your stuff.

Trust in compinding: your writing ability will get better, you will gather audience bit by bit.

Write because it is fun. Results may or may not follow.
8/ Once you get reasonably good, reach out to publications with an audience and write there. Guest blog. Contribute.

Whoever said 'First time founders focus on products. Second time founders focus on distribution' also applies to writing.
9/ Do it because it is fun.

Making a career out of writing is hard, but the joy is in the process. Isn't it?
10/ What did I miss?

Ask me anything about writing and I'll reply.
