Ooh, fun. I used the word 'paradigm' and my editor slapped me. But peak 'paradigm' over-usage was back in the 90s, c.f. Tapscott book. Do you actually see anyone using this term today? 1/
Eventually it got slung around so much that people woke up and said "we sound ridiculous. let's stop saying paradigm." 2/
WELL GUESS WHAT today's equivalent unholy trinity is "drive, enable, and leverage". Hopefully in a year to two people will wake up and say "we sound ridiculous. let's stop saying 'leverage' when 'use' will do. " 3/
This is the linguistic version of getting married in the 1970s ruffled baby-blue tux. A decade later you look at the pictures and say 'what were we thinking'. /end
