Christopher Lambert is so weird. He does kind of look like a guy who’s really sick of chopping dudes’ heads off for five hundred years. 
A race of immortals compelled to seek out and kill each other until only one remains. No one knows why. I love that premise and the first film makes a lot of out of it. MacLeod is a great romantic hero with a 100% authentic Scottish accent.
Clancy Brown as the Kurgan is ALL TIME. I’m genuinely angry that he refused to do the sequels.
Highlander is one of those things that I thought must be very important and popular in the US because it had sequels and a tv show so I got really into it. Alas.
Highlander fact: in every film, whenever Conner Macleod tells a woman he’s 500 years old and cannot die, they have sex IMMEDIATELY. Seriously, like right there in the street.
