Again Wire reminds us that Nehru went to Harrow and Cambridge.

Listen brah... Nehru was a very avg/below avg student. The only reason he went to those places is because his rich dad could pay to send him to England.

On his own, Nehru wouldn't have been able to sell tea.
So Nehru's rich dad paid for him to study in England and then he came back. Did very poorly in his legal practice.

Luckily for Nehru. his father Motilal was President of Indian National Congress. So in 1929 Nehru inherited Congress Presidency just like Rahul inherited in 2017.
The saga continues. Nehru's sister Vijaylaxmi Pandit wasn't even a college graduate, but Nehru appointed her as IAS officer and sent her as India's official envoy to USA,USSR, UK and UN.

Top diplomatic postings. No college degree even.
Indira did no better. Sent to Europe. Kept failing entrance exams. Couldn't manage to get in anywhere. But having rich parents helps. She hung around till she managed to get an entry to Somerville College.
And no she couldn't finish her degree there also.

The college she attended has a webpage about her where they politely explain that she couldn't finish the degree but managed to establish "lifelong friendships".

😂😂😂😂
On to Sanjay Gandhi. Rich family sent him to the aristocratic Doon School. But he didn't go to college.

He wanted an apprenticeship at Rolls Royce. But Rolls Royce didn't want him. So Sanjay had to pay them to make him an apprentice.
And no, Sanjay dropped out of that apprenticeship too.

But not to worry. Mummy Indira Gandhi made him boss of India's grand Maruti project to produce a small car.

Indira said it was because Sanjay was a "delicate young man" and she could not bring herself to say no to him.
Same story with Rajiv Gandhi. Sent to Doon School and Welham Boys and then to England.

Went to Trinity College, Imperial College, even LSE. Never could finish a degree. Imagine if these opportunities had gone to a deserving student from a poor family.
One correction in this thread: Nehru appointed Vijaylakshmi Pandit as IFS officer and not IAS officer.
