In Para 3 the EU rip out reassurance that Backstop is "not a desirable outcome for the Union" and add a bit on the 'integrity of the single market.

@theresa_may PS - I did a read here this morning - worrying out loud that EU leaders were not in mood for concession or legal texts, and raising prospect of a Salzburg reprise if she got it wrong. Another bad night for our tin-eared PM, sorry to report.
