Ask yourself "Do I have the mindset of a top 20% man?"
Here’s the top 7 mindset tells of a high value man;
A high value man doesn’t see himself as a victim or think about how shitty his parents were or about where he came from. He may have done in the past, but he has laid those demons to rest.
Only the now and the future interest him.
It's not a churning cauldron of thoughts and emotions. He may have doubts and worries, but these are kept in proportion and he uses action to solve and quiet these.
He doesn't worry about the future. He has planned for and is working towards it.
The future does not worry him, because he has a plan, derived through consideration of what he wants from his life including all aspects – Work, Finance, Recreation, Health and Relationships.
This always gives him something to work on and aim for.
He seeks out and eliminates negative or un-constructive thoughts, because he knows these never serve him in the long term. These thoughts are replaced with actions or solutions, or if none are apparent, he compartmentalises them for later.
He knows it is not enough to be busy and he also knows that he must focus on a few important tasks in any one day or week.
He also builds in rest times to recharge, so that he can maintain his focus appropriately.
Anything worth achieving takes time and a daily application to the task. The high value man enjoys the process, because he knows that this is his best chance of success.
He knows every little task completed is a step nearer his vision.
He knows that this life is short, but there is time to achieve whats he wants. Both from the point of view of work, and enjoyment of life.
He ensures that his day/week/year contains not only achievements but enjoyment as well.
He doesn’t put off either accomplishments to “party” or enjoyment because “if only I was worth X I would be happy”.
He knows that both these are false trails and that he can enjoy a balance as part of his journey.
