Trump’s attorney general pick, William Barr, in JUN sent an unsolicited memo to the Justice Department – namely Rod Rosenstein who considers Barr a mentor – that excoriated Mueller’s obstruction probe into Trump. Oops.

Barr's memo to DOJ: "Trump's comments to Comey re Flynn seem unobjectionable. He made the accurate observation that Flynn's call with the Russian Ambassador was perfectly proper...and Flynn, who suffered public humiliation from losing his job, was a good man."
