This is the full low-down on the EU's no-deal proposals, which are, for all intents and purposes, our own ones. They have proscribed how painful no-deal will be and none of our am-dram Children of Men bullshit will counter it.
Ultimately, they have closed off the very worst outcomes on aviation, haulage and agricultural exports. But they have done so in a way that - for obvious reasons - suits them, not us.
The emergency plans are severely time-limited, revocable at a moments notice, and completely one-way. They are like forcing out UK investment at sword-point.
In short: We're marginally less fucked than we were. But we remain thoroughly, holistically fucked.
I think it's also worth mentioning that every step towards planning for no-deal makes it more likely and a deal less likely. It shifts the centre of political gravity.
