A few thought on the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dance video, coming from a skeptic of hers.

Some months back I ran into this video when looking into her background a bit. I didn't post it for a few reasons.

1. It's just a silly video.
2. I knew it would only make her look good.

When I saw it, the video had about 50k views in all the time it was up. If I would've posted it, hardly anyone would've noticed.

Now the genius Qanon fucktard who posted it AnonymousQ1776 who has since deleted his entire account, did a bang up job making a tweet so terrible it amplified it for full effect.

First off, he cuts the video and puts a different backing track.

This isn't the first time the moron right has made this huge mistake of attacking her in really stupid ways. Recall Cardillo, who I guess thought her house wasn't "street" enough for her.

What happens? AOC is the sympathetic figure, Cardillo looks like a douchebag.

Then this dumbass, Eddie Scary thinks, "Hey, I'll attack what she wears!"

Again this makes her sympathetic and him like a petty douche.

There are so many attacks like this, that entirely miss the mark. From her bartending, to her student loan debt, not being able to afford a DC apartment, etc. These attacks make her relatable and she always comes out looking great.

Now the video has taken off with millions upon millions of views and meme'd into history. There's even an account dedicated to just remixing different songs into that clip. It's brilliant actually lol.

So coming from a AOC skeptic who has a real fear of her being a divisive force in the democratic party for years to come, don't come with these weak sauce attacks.
