The provost responsible for destroying the history department at Wisconsin-Stevens Point is the environmental historian Greg Summers. What kind of a scumbag do you have to be to destroy your own department and university to advance your career?

I've seen this before at another school that I did not teach at. A historian--of American communism no less!!!--sold his soul to rise in administration, literally making his former colleagues and friends cry as he tried to fire them when they opposed his new decisions.

These people are just utter and complete cynics, people who care only about themselves and rising in higher ed administration with zero concern about the future of universities. They have no soul and should be shunned at professional conferences.

And this is the asshole from the other school. God bless anyone under his watch at Utica College, the poor souls.
