Today's 1st album: Ray Charles, The Genius of Ray Charles. I guess this day is going to just go downhill from here by definition.

Today's 2nd album: Gram Parsons, GP

Today's 3rd album: Fairport Convention, Unhalfbricking. Been a good long time since I've listened to this one.

Today's 4th album: Robbie Fulks, Upland Stories

Today's 5th album: Ed Askew, Ask the Unicorn. Haven't listened to this folkie weirdo in too long.

Today's 6th album: Lydia Loveless, Somewhere Else

Today's 7th album: Neil Young, Freedom. Can't say I listen to this one much, as there is too much filler, but the top 5 or so songs are really great. Always liked "Crime in the City" a lot.

This is also about the time that Neil Young decided the way to make a song better was to make it longer, which has not helped his late career music.
Today's 8th album: Kidd Jordan, Hamid Drake, William Parker, Palm of Soul. I can't find any samples on YouTube but here's a clip of the three of them playing with Dave Burrell.

Today's 9th album: Pavement, Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Today's 10th album: Freddie Hubbard, Straight Life

Today's 11th album: Speedy Ortiz, Twerp Verse

Today's 12th album: Marissa Nadler, For My Crimes. First time listening to this.

Today's 13th album: Anna Burch, Quit the Curse. Another new album for me.

Today's 14th album: Dirtmusic, Bu Bir Ruya. This is pretty interesting.
