Our Homeless LGBTQIA+ Warming Shelter will now be open every night until the 5th of February. It’s too cold to let these youth sleep outside. 11 people have already died and we need to do all that we can to prevent more. Contact @KatNStevens if you can volunteer!
And thank you everyone who made the past 3 nights such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you and we have gotten so much support it has been overwhelming.
But we’re not closing. Let’s keep this up and keep saving lives! I’m also available by DM if you have questions.

This is a bad position. Nobody in your base is asking for “border security”. You can’t say you support the reasons for a wall you just don’t think it will work. That is not a progressive position.
Basically saying: “I don’t want a wall. I want something that will be more effective at keeping the Mexicans out.”
I’m not sure if that’s what she really believes or she thinks that’s what Americans really want.

Sooooo this lady set up volunteers for a youth warming shelter for LGBTQIA+ youth today in Atlanta. We were able to open a warming center in a matter of hours!
11 people have frozen to death on the streets of Atlanta and we just weren’t going to take it anymore so we all got together to set up a warming shelter.
This wonderful woman coordinated the volunteers and got dozens of people to sign up in a city we just moved to in one days notice. Because of us, super hero Jerome Brooks and other amazing people, 25 queer youth will not freeze tonight.

We have a problem here at our building.

A homeless people problem.

Likely a similar problem to what many, many buildings have, across the developed world. No, the problem isn't
that there are homeless people who stay in the lobby because they have nowhere else to go.

The problem, is that people who live inside the building, in actual homes, with heat food and all sorts of other necessities of life, keep calling the cops on those not as fortunate,
simply for taking shelter.

There are many reasons that are claimed this is done, but simple fact, is that it is wrong, regardless of the 'why' that is claimed.

The only effective way to ensure school safety is arm most the students, the way they were before Obama's VP Joe Biden as Senator passed the "Gun Free Zones" (i.e., killing zones for our future generations).
Students used to bring guns to school, and that is why there were no mass shootings. Recent mass shootings are little compared to if outright war broke out; ALL our USA students could die in one hour. They are still killing us using drugs, hiring quotas, anti-men females, etc.
