Imagine getting a job at a huge company. You get a small office and cell phone and a laptop and a name on your door. They assign you an email address. You start doing your daily tasks. Meeting people. Finding your way. Then they put you on the board of directors....
at the end of your third week. You don't know really how the company works, but because everyone likes you, the Chief Operating Officer decides you should be given authority and input on how the company operates. This is the story of a bartender from Westchester.
