Anybody who has ever been on the receiving end of a bigot's hate will recognize her attitude, that of a gloating, narcissistic bully.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews I started following a large number of Native American run accounts on Twitter a while ago, among other reasons, because there is an appreciable amount of Native American ancestry on my father's side of the family, and I had always been curious about that side of my heritage.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews I never knew much about it and wanted to learn. But as I listen in to these discussions, I can't help but notice the similarity in subject matter and tone to the rantings of the neo-Nazis, only with the roles switched around.

It was all about how much they hated white people.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews I was hoping to hear about their literature, their history, their art ... but no. Just endless ranting about evil, genocidal white people.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews Why would a group of what appear to be pureblooded white kids want to learn more about a culture that seems to offer little more than endless abuse toward people who look like them?

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews While I'm here, let me point you in the direction of a culture with which I am a lot more familiar. Mom's side of the family is Jewish. Ever hear of her people? Treated just as badly as the Native Americans and for a lot longer, that treatment culminating in the Holocaust.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews That was an attempt on the part of German government to kill us all, every man, woman and child among us, an effort that saw a considerable of support from non-Germans and continues to do so, to this day.

Yet, Jewish culture remains very much alive.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews This is how cultures worthy of respect deal with oppression - by refusing to be defined by it. By not getting into a moral race to the bottom with those who mistreated them, as they use that mistreatment as an excuse for their own hateful attitudes.

@KRS_RogueShark @NYDailyNews So, my advice to the boys from Covington would be to skip the Native American cultural lesson, and maybe go for a Jewish cultural lesson, instead. Or maybe a Chinese or Indian one - you know, cultures that have actually achieved something, recently.
