"WILKINGS FADHILI ODINGA THE CITY CONMAN: Revelation of how I was conned and almost landed in jail."

I thought it best to give this revelation a dissertation-like title becoz folks this is indeed one.
I am exposing @wilkinsfadhili in this thread

Let's get the basic facts out of the way before i delve into my story.
Wilkings Fadhili:
1. Did not win any 16.5 million KShs issa scam
2. Did not graduate from Daystar Uni with a masters
3. Has never set foot in Leeds University
4 . Infact has never set foot outside Kenya 😂

5. Wilkings started his conmanship with his first company "Fashion Torch Africa" an alleged modeling agency

6. Wilkings has conned SO MANY PEOPLE and i will mention afew in this expose..

other facts will be revealed along the way.. So let me start my experience #WilkinsTheCon

So my story starts around october 2016.

It started with a mutual friend mentinoning me on one of Wilkings posts on FB..we were not friends before that.
He had made a post to the effect tgat he was looking for "young focused leaders/ entreprenuers to partner with on a project

So he asked his friends to tag people who fit that description and my friend thought i was a good fit.

Mainly coz 2016 was one of my "thrive" years.. I was actively runnin an organization called Young Kenyan Women Leaders had been ranked in a few awards and was really connected

Upon the mention i got curious to know who this young man was.. A quick scroll thru his FB account reveleaved a man who was clearly doing too well for his age.

Had won Top 40 Under 40 at the time. Was running a "successful" company and was a Blaze mentor everytin checked out!

It was so hard to suspect anything coz he had been featured on a number of newspapers and had done a number of tv interviews detailing what seemed like a very believable story of rising from grass to grace..

Oh btw he mentioned he was undertaking a Masters at @StrathU Uni then.

i responded to the FB mention asking to be given details of this "Mega Project"

He said he would inbox me and i waited
He inboxed saying he had just checked out my profile and was impressed by my work and impact to the society 😂
Also said that he wanted to explain in person

I agreed to a physical meeting.. The date was set and venue was java Nakumatt junction coz apparently his offices were along ngong road. I was game..

She showed up dressed in his only pair of boots (the only shoe he owned as i would later find out) and usual fedora hat😂

The project was supposedly a start up incubation company he was starting The plan was that he was to get youth with start ups and incubate them..give them working space,help them scale their businesses link them to opportunities and fund them with his 16.5 mil. Incredible right?

At the meeting i also wanted to get inspired by knowing his ingenious rise from grass to grace story..

Guy talked of his humble kakamega roots..how his biological father one John Odinga was a bishop at Full Gospel Churches at Kakamega his mother too..

The chapo story..

Intresting bit (and many victims have heard this)

He mentioned how when he won the 16.5 million.. @UKenyatta the president of Kenya ooh called him to statehouse to personally congratulate him. And asked him to help them come up with an enterpreneurship plan for the youth!

Now being the creative mind i am i got interested in this project coz my passion is also aroung empowering the youth.

After the official meeting he suggested we grab a few cockails pale brew bistro.. Semeni setting standards😂 yaani by the time unatoka meeting you are sold!

Since we still had some time he suggested that he takes me to view his office that was at creatives garage. Nice office i thought!

it fit the description of a space that could house start ups.. So we parted ways and agreed to refine the idea and explore partnership possibilities

Now the follow up chats were abt how i would come in as a partner what role i'd play and what stake was in it for me.. All that was sorted and we were good to go

Being creative i thought of expanding the idea to include an annual continental start up challenge. Semeni Brains!

So i tell the guy lets get to work.. Mine was to get on board youth who were interested and they were to pay a certain amount as registration fee. It was 20k .

So the guy says something has come up.. I'm like say what?

Mjamaa says he just got a call from his office land lord

Ati apparently he found out his "CFO" had not been paying rent for about 9 months

So the landlord had called telling him they are closing his office till the money is paid!

Of cos i ask him how can he notpay rent for over 9 months bila landlord kuuliza maswali..?

I also ask how can the "CFO" not pay reny for all those months na hajui.

He says sijui the guy conned him and escaped to Rwanda with over 3 million of his company's money

Weh si of cos i am getting alittle suspicious but his story appears to be checking out from finer details

My worry now is that we are planning to have this start up running and we don't have office space..

I Ask him if he can use part of 16.5 million to pay the rent..

Akasema ati sijui the company that awarded him the money were to give him the money from 2017 April in bits..

And on condition that the start up hub is up and running..
Weh si i'm not getting even more worried.

I tell him to borrow money from some of his Top 40 friends. ( si watu wanakuwanga kwa hiyo list ni milionare kadhaa😂)

Guy says he has and everyone he has borrowed wamekataa

Ati they have all committed their cash elsewehere

I ask him si Blaze mentors are paid 150k per gig aulize Blaze wamlipe asort hiyo maneno..

He's like Blaze had delayed on paying everyone for about 3 months

Situation is getting even more desparater 😂 if that is even a word

So we meet up again and the agenda of this meeting is how do we get office space and get the project running coz remember time is not on our side.
Some start ups have started declaring interest apparently.

So being the smart one (oh by the way Wilkings is one dumb ass guy😂)

I suggest that we look for companies and organizations to buy into this wonderful idea They invest money and get a stake in the business..
i realize that it is a long process to get money from donor companies and we need an office urgently. I suggest we get people to invest

So we come up with a list of people we can approach from his end and mine (rem i am very connected at this point)

We agree to call thisbpeople sell the idea to them & get them on board..

Heh mrembo starts calling her people.many people loved the idea but had no money to commit

I wish i took it as a sign to back off but being me the go-getter relentless gal i keep going.

One time i call a friend (not a friend anymore for reasons to be given here) @BrynaTeli who had just gotten a job at the UK to ask her if she knew of people who could buy the idea..

I sell the idea to her in the hoped that she knew people who could invest in the idea.

Heh kumbe the idea was soo good that she wanted to invest in it herself..

She was like "Ruth are you sure this person is legit"? I send her all those @StandardKenya Articles tv links

Bryna gets sold on the idea and asks how we want her to come on board..

We tell her we need her to invest by paying rent for 3 months till the 16.5 m starts rolling in of cos And in return she would get a stake in the two ideas

She loves the idea and says you draft a contract

Mimi ni nanii.. Law student gets to work.. Drafts a basic agreement/ contract we were with Wilkins drafting this

We send her the contract and she says she will confirm with her people and get back to us.

In the meantime she says tafuteni ofisi and once you get it lemmi know

The idea was to get a 2 bedroom apartment office that could be partitioned into working spaces for the start ups

So wilkins says that he has spoken to the landlord & wameagree that he will give him the furniture on condition that he agrees to pay the arrears.This is good news!

Wacha tuanze mrando ya kutafuta ofisi!

Hakuna mahali sijui hii Nairobi West, South B , South C, Langata, Karen na Ngong' road.. Si I walked! And all this time Wilkings is not contributing even a shilling to pay agents coz ati he's broke..rem hawajaliwa na @BlazeSafaricom

We finally get an office hapo ngong' road just after Nakumatt Junction.

Rent is 35k deposit 35k

Bryna asks about story ya furniture i tell her wilkings has sorted with the former landlord.

So she sends the money to my Mpesa.. A cool 70k!

I tell Wilkins.. He sounds very excited.We agree that yeye alete furniture from the office mimi nilipe

So i was to come from the place niende nilipe rent tukutanie huko akileta furniture tuanze hii maneno

As i'm on my way he calls saying SOMETHING HAS JUST COME UP!
I'm like "NO NOT AGAIN!!" I ask him what He says ati landlord has gone back on his word ati lazma alipe pesa kwanza

Wah sasa mimi i wish i held back on the money at that point.. But there was no way i could think like that coz we were told that that office was on demand and someone else was ready to pay for it ( and this was true by the way)

So i say a bird in hand is better than 2 elsewhere

He says however that he has a plan of how we can get furniture and i tell cool we kuja tulipe rent we sort that out later.

We pay rent, he says he has a friend called steve who he had once lent money & steve was apparently lookin 4 office space.. He calls him tells him to come

Steve comes and the first thing he says is " You are Ruth Ambogo right? I know you from somewhere!" i am like what a small world.

We tell steve the deal he says he's ready to invest furniture in return for one of the rooms as his office..

Yaani we we making deals kama njugu😂

So steve suggests that he lives just nearby and he'd like to make us lunch if we don't mind. For some reason Wilkings got uncomfortable

Mimi i insist twende coz maan i was hungry AF after hiyo siku mrefu.. So we go to steves. Steve cooks we eat, we talk abit and leave

We had exchanged contacts with steve.. So steve texts me afew days later he's like "Nyamama, how well do you know Wilkings"

I'm like well enough to get into biz with him. I ask him why he asked he says " i'm just concerned for u as a sister.."

Heh i get alarmed!

I insist on steve telling me what he knows.. Steve tells me Wilkings had conned one of his first business partners to cool 3 million shillings!!!

The lady is called Christine (second name with held) (the story is true btw i confirmed)

At this point i'm almost loosing my mind!!

He tells me how he swindled one of his galfriends money a lady called Edith..

Tells me how the jamaa has no house he lives with women he hits on and swindles them money and moves on to the next.. ( stories that i confirmed were all true)

Tells me abt Fashion Torch deals..

Rem i have already paid 70 k! Infact @BrynaTeli Had seen it wise that we just pay plus rent ya january ndio tusikuwe na stress so she had sent another 35k !

And all these details are emerging after nimelipa pesa ya wenyewe! i call Bryna and tell her something is not right

I tell her i'm doing my investigations and will let her know what's going on..

Remember December is coming to an end na hakuna furniture! 70k imekunywa maji hivo..

Steve advised me to take my time and investigate b4 confronting him.

I invite wilkings to my place for lunch

I devise a plan.. I was cooking and sent him to buy tomatoes.. Akaacha one of his phones he had two.

Mjinga hakuwa na password kwa simu.. Mimi ni naniii investigation mode activated!

I go through his phone! Mamayooo! I found abt 30 messages of guys demanding their conned money

I took down the phone numbers of a few serious cases just to confirn for myself

There was a particular lady he had lived with.He tried to get the lady to steal from the dad 250k to sort him.
The chic was caught by the dad and was even arrested by police and kickes out of home

I cook serve we eat in peace like nothing just happened.. This was around 27th december.

Don't forget at that same time he had posted on his fb account ati he was honoured to be the only African who had been selected to go to USA for a 4 day fellowship that would start on 26th

I asked him why he had not gone akasema ati sijui they post poned the fellowship to next year..

after he left i called him for a meeting to confront him abt all those reveleations..

Wacha aanze his typical apology of how he's sorry he plans to make the world a better place😂

Oh by the way he ALWAYS apologises everytime he is caught..

Saying how his younger self was stupid.. He plans to make the world a better place..

At that meeting and i recorded him (hiyo simu iliharibika wish i had it) he confessed many things.. Next post

Wilkings Confessed that the 16.5 million story he collaborated with a @StandardKenya Writer paid the guy wakaandika story.

Thats the story that shot him to fame. Same story got him on Top 40 , on Blaze Safaricom and very many other plartforms.

Confessed he has no masters

Confessed he had conned all those pple promised he will change.. He even said he is going to get saved

Oh this meeting is took place in January 2017 by the way.. So all this time i updated @BrynaTeli On eveeything..

So i tell her i will do everything to get her money back

At that time i am definetly mentally worked up! Wondering mimi student nitatoa wapi 105k ya wenyewe nilipe! I actually fell sick in the process and was hospitalized for abt 4 days.. My phone was off this whole time..

So Bryna had tried to reach me and couldn't find me on phone

Of cos your geuss is as good as mine she thinks i am part of the scheme to con her and knew this all along and i am now hepaing..

I leave hospital and first thing i'm told ati @BrynaTeli Is suing me and i have been served with court documents! Ndio hizi next post

Let me tell i have never been this stressed in my life! But of cos i had good friends in high places infact my former lecturer @MboyaApollo Offered to represent me in this matter..

I try to sort the issue first with @BrynaTeli out of court She wanted to hear nothing abt it!

She sent unleashed her bloggers on my fb timeline 😂😂

I would make a post and they would comment calling me a con woman..

i had just been appointed to a continental organization called African Youth Pan-African Parliament..

She called the founders made sure i lost it..😂

Before Apollo offered to take my case i had to think quick on how to get back the money..

I remembered he had told me abt his John Odinga dad.. I searched him on fb found him and inboxed him.. Telling hin i had infor on the son and needed to talk.. Gave him my number

I tell the dad the whole story.. Father gets very shocked infact he tells me all along wilkings had told him he was in the states for that fellowship and even sent the dad photos os some wazungus sitted around a tabke as evidence ati ako huko 😂😂

I threaten the dad

Told him i would get the son jailed and expose him and his ministry as well.

The father begs and tells me not to do anything till he comes to Nairobi.. He tells me to set up a meeting with wilkings na nisimwambie the dad is coming.

The meeting was to be in 2 days time..

I call wilkings tell him that i want us to meet and come up with a payment plan for bryna that i am not pursuing legal action.

Jamaa agrees.. So the meeting was at crowne plaza.. The dad comes with the friend at 8 am. I narrate everything wilkings arrives at 9 am.. Not knowing

Not knowing baba ako hapo.. Weh! i have NEVER seen a man FREEEZEE like that!! It was drama ooh 😂😂

We talk at length the father tells me how hes never seen him for almost 2 years.. Never seen a coin of the 16.5 mil

Me i tell them hizo ni stori zao all i want is the moni ooh!

So the father tells me they had to take money from the sisters university kitty to pay..

He sends the Mpesa (after this i will try and get my mpesa records from back then as evidence and post)

I withdraw the money.. The next day we all go to the lawyers offices and pay them

But mimi ni nani.. I told them i need to be refunded for the money i spent in hospital as well😂 hizo ni damages my fren

Wilkings says ati ooh he will pay as soon as blaze pays him.. We even went with the dad to blaze to confirm when they will be paid next.

He zungushas me the whole year ooh i dont have money now.. Mean while some of my friends in the course of the year send me messages of how they have been conned as well.

He would "kill " his relatives make the mother "get an accident" just so he could get money from people

Heres an example of a friend he conned

So one time i tell him i will not pursue the matter any further however i will get my 50k by hook or crook.

First forward to Dec 2017, i had gone to get my make up done at a friends salon in westy for an office end of the year party we were having.. Wilkings arrives there

He arrives with a group of models wamekuja kufanywa make up wapigwe mapicha alafu waconiwe 😂

It was the first time i was seeing him again after the payment was done.

I tell him my fren ooh you will pay my money today by force by fire.. He thinks im joking

I had to think on my feet.. After i got my make up done nikatoka.. Pale westy kunakuwanga na banks mingi i found some police men the ones who patrol around the bank..

I tell them kuna mtu amekuwa akicheza na pesa yangu and i need help getting him to pay Nitawachotea wakinisaidia

Polisi ni nani wakatae pesa ya haraka.. 😂

They go to the salon "arrest" wilkings and tell him wanampeleka parklands police station

He kept telling them to talk to his lawyers.. Polisi wakamwambia mambo ya lawyers ni ya mbele 😂

They called their friends who were on patrol

Wakakuja na gari arrested the guy.. Mjamaa realizes this is serious..

The guy paid me my whooping 50 k on less than 30 mins!

Na saa hiyo he had said ati hana doo

2 days later a friend (name with held) who runs a reputable make up company and who was at the salon when the drama occured calls me and tells me ati wilkings is about to con the CEO of @WhatsGoodStudio To a tune of 1.5 million.

He had told the lady ati the mum got an accident

And needed brain surgery.. The mzungu believes him and pangas a fundraiser to raise money for him..

So this friend of mine tells me to help this mzungu not to fall for the trick.. The fundraiser was the next day!

I get her contacts call her and narrate my story.shes shocked!

The lady tells me hadi @DianaOpotiPR Had already contributed 40k!

She cancelled the fundraiser that morning..

Confronted him.. He apologized on facebook..said he would make the world a better place.. AGAIN 😂😂

Friends i decided to do this not to gain any fame but to help other people who could fall prey to this mans antics.

It is up to you to choose to believe it or fail to.

To those asking useless questions i say to you FOCUS.
