These include surveillance (cameras, satellites, drones, etc) patrols (people, vehicles, dogs, etc) and yes, physical barriers (man-made or natural)

The fact remains that the vast majority of drugs, weapons, and people who are trafficked through the border come through points of entry.
It makes sense to beef up security where the *actual* problems are far more than it does to build a vanity wall to satiate POTUS’ ego. <fin>
