Marie Colvin was murdered by the Govt of Syria on this day in 2012. I explained to Marie how tracking systems work when I met her coming out of Grozny in 1999. I had been surrounded by Russian forces three times and escaped. She also barely made it out. foreignpolicy.com/2012/03/03/kil…

France is all a twitter about a Guangzhou-based security training contract between Alexandre Benalla, Macron's former bodyguard and a Hong Kong-based, Chinese controlled "security and logistics" company which sounds an awful lot like Erik Prince's Frontier Services Group.
Benalla is in jail now and we can assume that the two year, $8.1 million contract is kaput. This on the heels of desperate denials by Prince in the US media of any "Blackwater" style #fuckery with Communist expansionists. Get your google translate. valeursactuelles.com/politique/excl…

One of the key fault lines in the Democratic primary will be: Who‘s going to be willing to be constructively negative? Who‘s going to name the wealthy, powerful interests that have stolen the American dream from people, and who’s going to merely speak of everyone coming together?
It’s the “malefactors of wealth” test.

After months traveling the country, I have no doubt that voters understand that they’ve been screwed by specific players and want to see that named.

Anyone not doing that naming is perhaps worried about people other than voters.

This is the best thing on Twitter this morning. I see too many security products trying to *replace* human-to-human interaction - there’s a good chunk of security and privacy that’s about *people*.

Let’s make more products which help people STOP, collaborate, and listen 😝
Forgetting about the “people” part of security is why we’ve heard “GRC is dead” for the last 10 years. We’re on “GRC 4.0” now and it *still* sucks.

GRC tools like Archer are designed for Process and Technology but forget about the poor People who have to use that dumpster fire.
We still have new vendors trying to design single-pane-of-glass “CISO dashboards”, meanwhile *very* few security companies are truly focused on people (not just security people) inside of organizations.

@duosec is one of the few companies who has focused on people. @habitu8 too
