This winter we’ve basically determined that an unheated box of roaches will survive a cross-crountry trip as long as temperatures don’t dip below -15. Hardy little buggers

Big milestones for Holly today:

1. Got a boop from the poofy orange cat
2. Surpassed 100 grams in mass for the first time with a whopping 109 gram weigh-in: nearly a quarter pound of chunky goodness.
Spending an inordinate amount of the family’s disposable income on roaches now, I should add.

“Daddy why don’t we have any college savings?”
“Shut up kid, and feed that lizard another bug.”
(my wife doesn’t know it yet but we’ll be breeding our own roaches soon. It’s the only way to save the family from financial ruin)

This chart makes a pretty compelling argument that the federal corporate tax code is broken. Amazon paid no federal taxes on profits of $11 billion last year. washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2019…
The company’s effective federal tax rate was actually -1% — they received a rebate of over $100 million despite having no taxes to pay. By contrast, the poorest 20% of households pay an effective federal tax rate of about 1.5% washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2019…

This is a thread about @Mtrubisky10's growth. And it's real.
Lets begin with some struggles, shall we?

We'll begin by analyzing how Trubisky's pre-throw play has improved over the year. Here's the setting for this play: 4th and 10, less than 2 min in the game. Trubisky goes down here and the Bears lose. Trubs flops and it's not good.
Fast forward to Week 14 and Trubisky's already exhibiting growth in this area. The Packers get a free rusher from Trubisky's left (almost the same as above) but Trubisky's already sensed it from the snap -- he simply flows right, shakes the tackle, and throws a perfect ball. Wow.

Airbnb : RM 480 / 6 nights
Ski : RM278 (ski & clothes rental, lift pass)

Hanbok rental : RM 72 (2 hours)

Groceries : RM 60
Exc shopping & street food

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."
