Much of the criticism is valid but part of the problem is due to users not threading properly (which "add a tweet" helps) or not replying and hashtagging well. BTW, clicking "latest" gets you out of "top tweets" (picked by algorithm) so you can read the sequence in order by /1
scrolling down to the beginning of the #tweetchat and reading upward.
BTW, @threadreaderapp works well for compiling a threaded sequence by one person but is not coded to handle back & forths. There might be a way to code an app to do that. (Not by me, alas.) /2
I've actually had good luck conducting conversations as long as there weren't too many 3rd parties involved, & participating in tweetchats works well for numbered Q&As when properly hashtagged. It would help if "reply" automatically included the hashtag(s) as it does handles.
