2/21/49 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on WCBS' "The Chuck Wagon.'' 1943 western introduced Connecticut-born "Sheriff'' Bob Dixon. He sometimes had guests like pal Edward R. Murrow on 1949-51 film showcase , eventually picked up by CBS as "Chuck Wagon Playhouse.'' NY TV debut 6/6/48.
2/21/54 from 9 to 10 am on WCBS' "Breakfast Show.'' 1937 Poverty Row romance with speedboat racing from Elmer Clifton, director of DOWN TO THE SEA IN SHIPS (1922), made NY TV debut 7/30/51 on WABC.
NY TV debut 2/21/59 at 11:15 pm on WCBS' "The Late Show.'' Channel 2 seemed to have five-year licenses on the WB pre-'48s from AAP they began rolling out in January 1957, but as with the MGMs they didn't apparently begin for each title until the first broadcast.

2/21/79 at 1 pm on WOR's "Movie 9.'' RKO's biggest hit of 1943 got the usual "dated as a dodo'' from Howard Thompson for one of its countless showings on Channel 9. But you know what? 40 years later, Potter's wartime romance holds up better than many more famous '40s films.
