Alright I promised I would do this so here we go,

The story of How/Why I invested in the @RidgeMarket

I'll start with a little background ->

I followed @Nappyb0yy in around Jan of 2018 and I thought he was full of it,
"This guy has money already, he's got it made"..
I did not relate to him because I thought he was lying, but as he shared more

I realized that he had created everything that I was seeing.

He worked hard for all of it.

It wasn't until Fall of 2018 that I realized I needed to put in the same work because i was in a bad spot
SO
I thought i was doing well for a 21 year old
I had a job where I worked from home writing code

But I was LAZY just a bum. Slacked off in school, never did homework or studied

I passed but I did not care at all. I wasn't being productive

I was 21 so i partied nonstop
I was drinking every weekend + living paycheck to paycheck

Spending stupid amounts of money at bars and on beer.

Dont get me wrong, it's okay to have fun. But I was spending ALL of my money on this stuff..

Until one day it slapped me straight in the face ->
I needed gas in my car after a weekend of partying and my card got declined at the gas station.

BOOM

I checked my bank account and this is what I saw

5.44 cents to my name. And I'd have to close my account to access more than 44 cents.

I cried. Hard.
Just imagine this for a second..

Phone bill, Car insurance, School bills, getting food..

Couldn't buy a candy bar

Less than a SINGLE DOLLAR

I felt worthless. I had let myself down more than you could even imagine.

This was Sunday September 16th, 2018

A week later...
Mon, Sept 24, 2018

Chris @Nappyb0yy Tweeted this..

$1000 for a brand from someone who has done it already.

Be kinda dumb not to take advantage of that right!?

I had gotten paid that Fri @ $13.25/hr my paycheck came out to around $270

$270/500 (not even close) ->
I literally prayed that I could come up with the rest of the money before all the spots were filled.

I had to come up with $230 before midnight for the $500 downpayment

Here's what it came down to: ->
$270 - Paycheck
$180 - Posted my Xbox one S on FB Market and sold via Paypal
$20 - Digit savings app - if you dont know about this look it up
$30 in Paypal -idk y but lucky it was there
------
$500 ~ I actually transferred everything to my bank and had $501.11 EXACTLY
I sent the money via Paypal and ensured I had a brand.

And I struggled for a while. I'd spent all the money I had.

My thought process was that if i made this investment and humbled myself
I would take this opportunity seriously and change my life.
A month went by and I didnt change very much, I still partied with whatever money I had

Didn't care much about work or school

Then reality slapped the F*ck out of me...
I got this text on a day that I was supposed to be working.

It was my boss. I called and he let me know that

The company had been short on business and they had to let 2 people go

They chose me because I was young, didn't have a family, and was "Bottom 1/3 in productivity"
I struggled from Nov to Dec doing odd jobs for anyone,

I had to ask my grandma if I could rake her leaves for $$

(My grandpa would've kicked my ass if he were on this earth still. And he would be right to do that. )

But I needed every bit I could get to drive to job interviews
Eventually i got a job working for Best Buy and paid back a lot of my debts

The experience broke me in a way. I realized that

1. You have to put yourself in a position to succeed
2. Your job working for someone else is never guaranteed - especially if youre not providing value
After the New Year @RidgeMarket delivered my brand

and still, I did nothing with it for 2 weeks.

Then one morning I woke up and decided that I was going to be successful, that i was tired of living paycheck to paycheck.

So I tweeted.. A LOT
I promoted my product myself on Twitter and made TWO sales on the first day

This lit a fire under me. I YELLED and Prayed on my drive to pickup basketball

"I CAN DO THIS" "I PROMISE I WONT MESS THIS UP"

I knew that if i worked hard on @equinox_watches i could make it work.
I started to share my experience and people were inspired

I've decided to help a community in need and am blessed to have support from everyone that follows me.

Not a day passes now that I don't wake up with gratitude for

My work | @RidgeMarket | and all of you reading this
You might've noticed that my Profile Picture is actually this picture of me at the bar drinking..

I chose to make that my pic to remind myself of what NOT to do with my time.

If I want freedom I have to create a path for it - Thats what Im gonna do with @equinox_watches
If you're unsure about taking the next step with @Nappyb0yy and @RidgeMarket

DM me I'll help you in any way that I can..

I want everyone to know that I am no different than you.

I have struggled BIG TIME and have been scared to death about my money..
I don't have this fear anymore, because I have found something that I am passionate about

Something that will separate me from my old style of living.

Please know that if I could do this YOU CAN TOO.

Please reach out to me any time. I will always listen to what you have to say
Thank you again to everyone who has supported me on this journey

I am just getting started and have a lot more to achieve

My family for all of the support - @vicsalinas33 @dorasalinas @trishastruth

And @Nappyb0yy @KeanuCaroline for building the foundation of my success
