Sticking with the topic of a pulling rear leg, the slingshot, it comes in many shapes and sizes. An All-American here with a very simple example.
Did you see this in that swing? It’s there. And it’s critical to the slingshot. Critical to suddenness. Most think the arc represents the barrel path. It does not. Although the barrel will take that path on low pitches. It represents the action of your back muscles.
The Ferris wheel has never been the barrel path. It’s about your back v your chest. Left = back. Right = chest. Left will keep the resistance behind the leg so it can pull. Right pushes the resistance in front of the leg so it must push.

That's an act of war. A provocation - done purely to incite.
How we win this war is based squarely in how we react to the provocation.

I was going to take it easy at the gym this a.m., but I was the biggest person in my strength training class (again) & a couple of new women were giving me obviously dirty looks.

So NATURALLY I had to set up in front of them & out-lift them by a mile.

Big girls Represent.💪
I don’t care what your body type is and you shouldn’t care about anyone else’s. You never know someone’s story. I have a bad knee, bad shoulder, have had 3 major abdominal surgeries, and am still the most consistent exerciser I know. I also happen to be plus size.
Being at the front of any gym class is how I reclaim my power when more typically gym-toned people give me dirty or disgusted looks. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does I make a point of demonstrating how fitness comes in all shapes & sizes - and always leave feeling great.
