Sticking with the topic of a pulling rear leg, the slingshot, it comes in many shapes and sizes. An All-American here with a very simple example.
Did you see this in that swing? It’s there. And it’s critical to the slingshot. Critical to suddenness. Most think the arc represents the barrel path. It does not. Although the barrel will take that path on low pitches. It represents the action of your back muscles.
The Ferris wheel has never been the barrel path. It’s about your back v your chest. Left = back. Right = chest. Left will keep the resistance behind the leg so it can pull. Right pushes the resistance in front of the leg so it must push.
The pull or push has never been just an arm thing. The leg must be right. If it’s not you will push with the arms.
Bregman. High pitch. Still Ferris wheeling yet his barrel appears to be a merry go round. His back is working properly. It Ferris wheels.
Ferris wheeling the high pitch.
Me. Ferris wheeling the high pitch.
The Ferris wheel has nothing to do with the angle at which the barrel is released. It has everything to do with making the rear leg pull. Snap. The swivel can swivel at all angles at all times. Ferris wheel does not affect swivel.
The swivel can create any of these angles AS the back Ferris wheels. Simultaneous moves yet independent of each other. Snap. Instant deep barrel speed on plane without having to set plane first. High level. Very high level.
All of this disproves hip and spinal rotation. It’s two pivot points. Hand. Rear leg. Synced up properly. With stretch between them.
