The Green New Deal doesn't actually have any specifics. Haven't you people read it??? This makes almost any plan better.

The Green New Deal is about a New Deal, not about Green. You people would know that if you actually read it.
The reason the problem is intractable isn't because of lack of government action or "deniers", it's because there is no solution that doesn't directly impact your standard of living, like doubling the price of gasoline.
Unless you double the price of gasoline, raising U.S. gasoline prices to the levels paid in Europe, you have no solution. The Green New Deal won't raise gasoline prices, or do anything that will make you stop burning so much fossil fuel.
