I have been contacted by senior Unite representatives who take serious issue with this @unitetheunion press release - which says that at a meeting of factory representatives there was “no mood” for an EU referendum. According to sources, more than half of those at the... 
meeting were in favour of a referendum - which is now Labour policy but which @LenMcCluskey opposes. There may well be official complaints about the release
Unite’s official response is “two things above all were crystal clear [from factory reps meeting]: get no deal and a bad deal off the table or manufacturing will be destroyed, and... the view on the shopfloor had not changed on Brexit. A 2nd ref would not work for our members”.
I am of course very happy to relay that official interpretation of that important meeting of representatives of many thousands of manufacturing workers. All I can tell you is that the official version is not shared by all the reps at the meeting - who say mood among workers...
