I would be shocked if Cohen didn't say something false at yesterday's hearing, but this referral is impressively lame.
The most striking thing, however, is that none of the examples of alleged perjury have anything to do with Cohen's substantive claims against the president.

They were unable to find a single thing Cohen said about Trump that they could label a lie, even for PR purposes.
Although I will award @Jim_Jordan and @RepMarkMeadows half points for their claim that Cohen perjured himself when he testified that he was a good lawyer, because well they're not wrong.

The thing about all this I don't quite get is why Michael Cohen decided that his best bet was to cooperate with investigators, rather than hold out for a pardon.
One possibility I've wondered about is if Cohen had reason to believe that any Trump pardons wouldn't be happening until Trump is about to leave office, or at least until not until after he's reelected. That might've changed how Cohen weighed his options.
If that's the case, then Trump's pardon offer would give Cohen, in the best case scenario, a potential resolution for this matter in 24 months from now.

Under the deal Cohen, he gets a certain resolution of this matter in 36 months.

I just can't even with this story.

Did these two attorneys create a legal bill for Cohen, even though he was not their client, itemizing their contacts with the president's lawyer in order to claim "attorney-client privilege" over those contacts?

1. I think @McDermottLaw represented #Cohen on or about Aug. 28, 2017 when letter was sent to SSCI and HPSCI? Firm continued on through the warrant litigation. I wondered at time if they had hired by the RNC (why Cohen remained DF Chair) possibly carrier but I think it unlikely.
2. I searched and found this posted around the time Cohen alegeges his attorneys worked with the @Whitehouse counsel to create the false letter.
