Oh. Okay wow. These mystery attorneys were going in strong on the conspiracy to obstruct justice crime-fraud exception.

Giuliani is not denying he was in talks with the two mystery attorneys.
I just can't even with this story.

Did these two attorneys create a legal bill for Cohen, even though he was not their client, itemizing their contacts with the president's lawyer in order to claim "attorney-client privilege" over those contacts?
I am just assuming these two attorneys work for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern PLLC.

I'm reading Papadopoulos's book and all I can think of is that guy from every horror movie who is somehow oblivious to all the creepy things going on around him, and is inevitably killed off within the first 40 minutes.
"I googled him and didn't see anything listed about him being a spy, so naturally I assumed his offer to give me money was legit. But it turns out if you read the Wikipedia page about him, he's totally a spy! How dare the FBI trick me like this?!"

.... so you were under criminal investigation *before* you ever had any affiliation to Trump?
The GOP is literally upset that people who were under criminal investigation didn't automatically get immunity for any possible charges when they joined the Trump campaign.
To be fair, I guess it could have been a counter-intelligence investigation, and not a criminal one. But if there was an investigation into a middleman in an intentional energy deal with a wildly implausible back story for his involvement, that was totally a criminal matter.

The Court of Appeals reinstated Adnan's conviction based in large part on the strength of the State's case from Jay & cell records showing that Adnan buried Hae in Leakin Park shortly after 7pm.

It's scientifically impossible for that to have happened.

Hae had fixed frontal lividity with clear pressure marks caused from unknown objects on her chest. She could not have been buried on her side (nor any other way) at 7:15pm on Jan 13th. #TheCaseAgainstAdnanSyed

Right after the Feds raided Michael Cohen, lawyers connected to Rudy Giuliani pressured Cohen NOT to flip on @realDonaldTrump with the “implicit message that if Cohen hired these lawyers, it could preserve or increase his chances of a #pardon.”🤬

The 2 lawyers never joined Cohen’s legal team but sent Cohen a bill for legal services (he didn’t pay) that included fees for at least a 6n phone calls btwn the lawyers and Giuliani, and a late June in-person meeting in NY btwn at least 1 of the attorneys and Giuliani.🔥
SDNY prosecutors now have the legal bill along with logs of numerous calls and copies of emails btwn the attorneys and Cohen. During a meeting with Cohen earlier this year, federal prosecutors asked who paid the bill, but Cohen said he did not know who, if anyone, did.🧐

This really shows the absurdity of DOJ policy NOT to indict a sitting president. The greater the evidence of criminality, the greater incentive a criminal POTUS has to stay in office. Trump may seek a 2d term as a result. Why EVER leave if being POTUS prevents legal exposure?!
