Last night my husband disturbed 6 + eastern European men stealing sheep. They managed to round the sheep in to a smaller paddock and beat a heavily pregnant female sheep before putting it over their shoulders and running away to a get away vehicle.
The ewe is due to lamb any minute. We have this on cctv. It makes me so angry to think we have this sort in our society. We have worked hard for everything we have and to be on our farm. We started with a few old sheep and a very rusty trailer.
It also makes me very sad...
What will become of the heavily pregnant sheep they beat and ran with over their shoulders and threw in the vehicle while it grunted in pain?

Warwickshire police were great and were here within 10 minutes.
I assumed they wanted to kill the ewe but they were disturbed they might dump the ewe somewhere. Please share and if you have any information please let us know.
We need to bring awareness of this disgusting animal cruelty and theft case to stop it happening in our countryside.
I would like to make it clear this post is to bring awareness of rural crime happening in our countryside. Please let's not get caught up on the description and more focus on how we are going to try and tackle rural crime going forward to stop animal cruelty and theft.
Hi this was a description to try and appeal for information in our locality. My husband believed their language accent to be Eastern Europe. It bears no other relevance than a description. this post is to bring awareness of rural crime. That is all.
To clarify the description once again. The police asked my husband for a description and that’s what he described them to be from overhearing their language accent. If your home was broken into and you were asked for a description, what would you say?...
I feel it was completely necessary to include, how will you find a suspect if you haven’t got a description. This does not mean I am discriminating against anyone. For your information I love all of Europe and especially Eastern Europe. I have travelled it extensively and
studied it extensively. This post is about rural crime and raising awareness.
Update: The remains of our sheep, fleece, skin, head, legs and ears and 2 lambs have been found in a carrier bag outside a block of flats in Coventry, at the bins. We know this is our sheep as it has our electronic ear tag number in it with our unique flock number.
The police have been informed.
