You have to be fucking joking with this tweet. It was CNN - the outlet where you work - that led the way in spreading this lie all over the world. CNN claimed it saw with its own eyes something that never happened. It ignored all the evidence presented weeks ago proving this lie:
CNN owes a major reckoning to the public for the lies it spread. Unlike other cable personalities whose brains lack critical thinking & therefore just mindlessly repeated what US officials said, CNN *vouched for the lie*. They claimed *they saw* Maduro's forces burn the truck.
Isn't it fascinating & revealing how the people who purposely spread the lie about Venezuela are constantly on TV, while the people who debunked the lie weeks ago using evidence are kept off US TV? Just like those who spread Iraq lies still rule the media theintercept.com/2019/03/10/nyt…
This tweet from NBC's @Kasie was unintentionally accurate even while it spread a demonstrable (and documented) lie. The tweet is true provided that the "this" refers to how US media outlets mindlessly spread lies from US officials designed to start wars without airing any dissent
