Seriously, I was briefly excited for this film, but the critics in the #CysticFibrosis community were 100% right.
This movie is not for us.
It's not even representation of CF
This movie is a money grab at our expense, because Hollywood.

Some proceeds may be donated to #CysticFibrosis related causes (see @andygrammer and his 10%) but I still can't find where Claire Wineland or anyone else from the CF community was paid for their consultant work

Donations aren't the same thing and it's not good enough.

Also sick of seeing the actors posting about their own personal growth while filming and nothing about #CysticFibrosis in itself

This movie is purely for teens and young adults who are naturally pretty self-centred and aren't going to retain anything more than "omggg I'm so lucky, how inspiring, omggg".
No one will remember anything about #CysticFibrosis except that it made them cry
