1) WWJD use to be a catchphrase for follows of Jesus who genuinely desired to follow His example in word & deed. Question: What might our churches & communities look like if we sought this with all our hearts instead of lifting up our favorite political banner?
2) Tenaciously following the teachings of Jesus would redefine prolife. We would value not just unborn life but life from the womb to the tomb. If we took serious what Jesus would do it would impact the way we relate to refugees and immigrants. Luke 10:25-37 and Matthew 25:38-40
3) would not be ignored or explained away! A broken immigration system would be repaired and replaced by a comprehensive one based on love & compassion instead of fear & hatred. WWJD if taken serious will change many things that will make our world a better place to live.
4) “Pie in the sky” kind of thinking you say? Actually, it’s Kingdom thinking! Not our own private little kingdoms - but Jesus’ Kingdom. We can do this Church! Let’s join hands and hearts and with God’s help make this a better place because it’s what He would do! #lovelikeJesus
