Let's give Kushner a chance. He might have relevant expertise.

Who knows, maybe the cure for Covid-19 is luring it into an embassy, strangling it, and cutting it up with a bone saw.

Jared Kushner Is Going to Get Us All Killed nyti.ms/2x1tlVc
Who knows, maybe Kushner can orchestrate a naval blockade around Covid-19 (Qovid-19?) and extort it into submission.
On the other hand, he'd probably see if Qovid-19 would be interested in bailing him out of 666 5th Ave first.

It's just in Kushner's RNA.

Since Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman came to power, #Saudi Arabia has murdered one journalist and jailed dozens, and is repeatedly accused of hacking.

This is the timeline of Saudi attacks on the press since Mohammed bin Salman was named Crown Prince in 2017.

THREAD ⤵️
In June 2017, Mohammed bin Salman was named Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

In September 2017, the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post hired #Saudi journalist #JamalKhashoggi.

a few comments of background in relation to release of our public statement just now – a statement which is *not a report*, as some have characterized it, but a call for investigation in light of serious human rights allegations. report is here: ohchr.org/EN/NewsEvents/…
a key first point: @AgnesCallamard & i regularly receive information from sources about serious human rights violations, from all over the world. we are mandated by the @UNHumanRights Council to address credible allegations of violation.
in Agnes' case, that's credible info pertaining to extrajudicial killings and summary executions - which led to her compelling report on murder of #JamalKhashoggi last spring. see ohchr.org/EN/NewsEvents/…

Why the sentence today is anything BUT Justice for #JamalKhashoggi: a) the hearings were held behind closed door even though none of the justification for holding a trial in camera under international law applied to this particular trial
b) The 18 Saudi officials, present on their own in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul for more than 10 days, cleaned up the crime scene. This is obstruction of justice and a violation of the Minnesota Protocol for the investigation of arbitrary killings (2)
c) Under international human rights law, the killing of Mr. #Khashoggi was an extrajudicial execution for which the State of #SaudiArabia is responsible. But at no point did the trial considered the responsibilities of the State.

THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4407: Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi brushes off Jamal Khashoggi's Murder as 'Mistake' — #BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #Nonverbal #EmotionalIntelligence #DaraKhosrowshahi #JamalKhashoggi #MBS #Uber #CrisisManagement
1/ Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi was recently interviewed by Axios. A short, but crucial clip of that interview was released on Sunday 10 November 2019. In it, Khosrowshahi was asked about Saudi Arabia's murder of Washington Post journalist and US resident, Jamal Khashoggi.
2/ What follows is a partial nonverbal, verbal, and paralanguage analysis of this exchange.

Please watch the video first with the sound off and again with the sound on.

I need everyone to pay attention to what @Uber CEO @dkhos is saying here.

Not only is he running cover for the Saudi government by saying the pre-planned murder of a @washingtonpost writer was a "mistake", he compares the murder of a human being to Uber making a tech glitch.
@Uber @dkhos @washingtonpost Jamal Khashoggi used @Uber to get around in Washington/Virginia area. He didn't have a car for a while when he went into self exile.

The sick and sad irony of Uber CEO @dkhos calling his murder by the Saudi regime a "mistake". That we should consider forgiveness. #BoycottUber
@Uber @dkhos @washingtonpost Everyone who uses Uber should consider the implications of @dkhos's words

If one of @Uber's main investors kills someone it doesn't really matter. A representative of a murderous regime can still keep a board seat.

When you're rich, your crimes become "mistakes". #BoycottUber

[Thread] 1/ This one is on seriously high volume Saudi Twitter bots tweeting on the hashtag #اتفاق_الرياض , which translates as the Riyadh Agreement. If you search Twitter for hashtag, you will see something like '330 tweets in the past hour'. Most of them are bots. Read on...
2/ For some context. The #RiyadhAgreement is a power-sharing agreement between UAE-backed separatists in Yemen, and the internationally recognized government of Yemen. Since 5th November, Saudi social media has been portraying Saudi as a 'peacemaker' in Yemen. Gross I know.
3/ Firstly, if you want to have a look at what this looks like on Twitter, here is a short video screen capture of the search results. You can see that many of the accounts that are unique are posting content from "Saudi 24", the sectarian and virulently anti-Iranian news channel

[#Thread] 1/ Ok, in today's Twitter weirdness we have some big news. I have found around 2,000 Twitter bots tweeting pro-Saudi and, erm, pro Aramco propaganda. but using the #JamalKhashoggi and the #خاشقجي hashtag. Read on for more details...
2/ The weirdness began when I started seeing these strange videos promoting Saudi companies, mostly interviews with white men called 'Carl' and 'Rick' who had worked in Saudi for years, and generally found it amazing... #JamalKhashoggi
3/ Also let's not forget Noel, who presumably had no idea his interview about his experience in Saudi would be spammed around along with the name of a murdered Saudi journalist. That's some dark shit...Of course there's more.

[#Thread on Jamal Khashoggi] 1/ It's been a year since Jamal Khashoggi was killed, and the Saudi propaganda machine went into overdrive. As it's the anniversary, I wanted to share some strange findings from October 2018, and offer some new insights on the scale of disinformation
2/ An unusual aspect about the killing of #JamalKhashoggi killing was that it was one of the few times where a regime habitually lies only to actually admit later that it was more or less lying. This means we have a chunk of news we know is fake, and a chunk we know is true
3/ With this in mind, I sought to see whether the true story, or the false story, resonated more widely on Twitter. Was the Saudi propaganda or the truth spread more widely? After all, we do know that fake news spreads more quickly and widely... #JamalKhashoggi

OCTOBER 2

It's been one year since #JamalKhashoggi was brutally murdered.

This is also another sad anniversary for me personally.

My father died 20 years ago today, October 2, 1999.

Rest in peace dad, you wouldn't recognize this world. 🙏🏽
Here is a video of my father Arthur a few years before he passed. He had a TV show in Lebanon about environmentalism, filmed in the small mountain village of Lehfed, where my ancestors, Maronite Christians, are from.

Arthur Daou went from a small Lebanese village to Columbia University's PhD program in engineering. A brilliant man who spent years analyzing and structuring traffic patterns for New York City's major tunnels, then gave it up and eventually became an organic farmer in Lebanon.

#JamalKhashoggi's murder reminded us how authoritarians fear a free press.

It exposed the danger of having a U.S. President regularly demonize the media, & laid bare the fragility of our system & how much it relies on the people in power to respect it. wapo.st/2mX26GD
Khashoggi’s murder will be remembered as the straw that broke the camel’s back—a grim reminder that Saudi behavior has strayed so far out of line with our own values that business as usual with the kingdom was no longer in our interests.

I can now confirm the death of personal guard of #Saudi @KingSalman General Abdulaziz AlFaghem by gunfire. He is seen here with the king. He was dismissed from his post just days ago which makes his death extremely suspicious. Working on details. @nytimesworld @bbcarabicalerts
AlFegham was seen few days ago walking alone #Jeddah corniche which is not constant with his job. He doesn’t ever leave the side of the king & sleeps at the palace after the king goes to bed.
I can with high certainty say that AlFegham was dismissed this month by #MBS. Details will be coming when sources are able to find info & transmit.

[Thread] Tonight's episode of Tales from a Digital Dystopia is called 'Dead Man Talking'. It's a story of intrigue, deception, and manipulation. But it's also one, where you, the public, can shape the ending. In fact, I need your help, and so might our friend, who we'll call Dave
the year is 2019, i.e. this year. Corporations are increasingly unaccountable, especially big tech and Silicon Valley. Our data is being sold to various entities with nefarious agendas. Cambridge Analytica, well they were dumb enough to get caught. What about the smarter ones?
This is where David comes in, not because he worked for such a corporation or institution, but because he was, in many ways, a victim of one. Not that he knew of course, or would ever know...It's too late for that, because David is already dead.

Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's relationship with Trump.
SA has a long way to go, but Prince bin Salman has cleared many hurdles in a short amount of time. Not sure we can fully comprehend the bravery necessary here. It amazes me.

Interesting to observe.

Do Arabs know the American people support Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman? Arabic accounts retweeted my post.

I’ve observed Colorado @SenCoryGardner since his election. What I’ve seen has left me dismayed. Rather than building bipartisan bridges to get things done, Cory became a supine Trump yes-man. There are 1000s reasons he shouldn’t be re-elected. Here are 101: #VoteCoryOut #COsen
#1: Even though he was elected by the narrowest of margins in 2014 in a state that has since voted for Hillary in 2016 & a democratic state govt trifecta in 2018, Cory continues to act as if he has a mandate from the white nationalist alt-right. #VoteCoryOut #cosen
#2: Cory Gardner has consistently voted for the extreme Trump agenda. During the 2019-2020 Congress, he’s voted with Trump over 90% of the time. During Trump’s 1st two years, Cory’s voting record was over 95% in line with Trump. #VoteCoryOut #cosen
