@threadreaderapp Cool, that worked. Ok, I am going to continue with this inspired by @JacksonEflin and @KevinMKruse livetweeting of Shapiro’s new “The right side of history”. In an appropriate twist, this is a way for me to procrastinate marking HisWesCiv midterms.

Shapiro’s lack of interest in historical details other than FREEDOM and FAITH has made this chapter feel redundant:

@threadreaderapp @JacksonEflin @KevinMKruse And both Luther and Calvin are too authoritarian for him to really get behind. So here we are, at what is the core of typical HWesCiv stuff, and Shapiro REALLY wants to get it over with. Liberalism and the American revolution can’t come fast enough.
