Flynn’s old law firm is fighting disclosure of Flynn Intel Group’s case file by citing the Supreme Court’s test established by... the Nixon tapes.
Just a fun little detail right there.
Flynn Intel Group entered into a $600,000 agreement that for an allegedly undisclosed Turkish influence campaign at the heart of the ongoing prosecution in Virginia, which is why Trump's former transition team member Bijan Kian wants the consulting firm's client file.

You will be shocked to learn there are no “Bartleby the Scrivener” memes on Twitter, nor known congressional carveouts inspired by the Melville classic for dodging such a request.

House Democrats, presumably, would prefer not to make one.

Those who view this stunt by Georgia state legislators as a local journalism story rather than a threat to press freedom on a global scale should consider one salient fact.

CNN is headquartered in Atlanta.
This bill also proposes to create a nine-member "Journalism Ethics Board" (chosen by the state uni system's chancellor) responsible for accreditation and sanctioning. The board would operate secretly without any accountability from the courts.

Nine members: Like the Supreme Court, but secret, unaccountable, appointed by a different panel of unelected deciders installed by one state apparatchik, and responsible for sanctioning and accrediting all journalists working in the state of Georgia.
