As a general rule: don’t introduce yourself to prominent people

Or better yet, get so good that they introduce themselves to you

Networking isn’t going to meet and greets and handing out business cards

It’s finding a foothold in the circle you are trying to enter, and then being normal, competent, sociable, and patient

Turned it into a $1k course

Introverts can actually be better at networking than extroverts - if they are socially competent

Networking requires empathy

And extroverts have a hard time empathizing with introverts
