@QandA What you offer the nation is a narrow performance of "opinion", i.e. ideas already approved by the powerful. Don't be a snowflake when your failure to truly interrogate a continent in economic and political crisis creates a storm. Do better.

@QandA The falsehood of your claim "democracy in action" was made plain when students in the studio unfurled a protest banner and your host said "This is not democracy". Actually, it was the only sign of democratic life on your shitshow in years.

@QandA The pretence of balance is not itself balance. When Van Badham is your "left" and some ethno-nationalist scum-of-the-week is your "right", you know as well as I do that this is no "contest of ideas". It's a pro wrestling match whose winner is declared in advance.

@QandA This is not to say that there is no hope. You could prep your host a little better and invite guests whose interests are not also the ruling interests. You could help us understand the principles that govern us and not merely endorse them.

@QandA To invite a fascist on your program is not to explain the rise of fascism. To have an unremarkable liberal mid counter theirs with a "just be better!' response is to explain nothing but the reason that viewers are angry at your "don't blame us" response.

@QandA Your failure is not the failure of those enraged by your perpetual refusal to offer the political analysis they were promised. People are less stupid and more curious than is commonly thought by those in professional media.

@QandA And, no. This is no challenge to get me on your show. The studio lights gave me a migraine on the single occasion I appeared and you didn't pay well for an experience largely defined by people calling me ugly on social media. Just do better. Just serve people. Just have a think.

@QandA It is not cynicism that drives me to point out your feeble defence of your own continued failure but optimism. I actually believe in the usefulness of true critical thought. I believe that a sham version of it is harmful. Please improve.

@QandA On international women's day this year, the 101st anniversary of the rise of women workers whose actions started a revolution, you gave only powerful people the work of speaking for us all. You do this every week. Which is why we get the poops.

@QandA @SatPaper Out of respect for journalism as I learned it as a young ABC worker, I held back in that piece and modified my claims with an audience and the editorial principles of my employer in mind. Perhaps you could look at your own editorial policies and assess how you fail an audience.

@QandA @SatPaper It is easy to dismiss my critique as "bitter" or as lunacy. It is difficult to serve an audience. But, it is impossible for us to navigate a time of deep political and economic crisis without a framework for thought. Give us the framework we need, not a platform to fascists.

@QandA Again, this is not about me feeling "left out". I chose to quit working in mainstream media when it would no longer tolerate critical thought. It is an honest and passionate plea for you to do your job.

@QandA But the international women's day special had no fascists. Just gainfully employed women making out like they were just like me, or any other working woman. This serves feminism less well than a sparkly bra. It's destructive.

@QandA To answer the question of a visibly rising racist fascism, we do not ask Nazis to explain themselves an we can't hope that politicians will say much that risks their chances of election. 51 were slain by an Australian white supremacist. Do something.

@QandA You do know, I expect, that a typical take home Australian weekly wage is little over $600. You may have noticed the anomie and racism. Please think about your role in explaining and connecting these crises, not excusing them.

@QandA I don't buy that you're convinced by your own "fair and balanced" "not our fault" assessment. Fascists and self-serving liberals whose brand recognition is helped by their appearance on your show don't just get there by magic.
