So far this season KXIP have made the most team changes of any side in the IPL. DC have also been marked by uncertainty in selection with nine team changes. At the other end of the spectrum KKR have made the fewest. #IPL

Based on batting & bowling averages, this season KKR & RR have strong batting but weak bowling; DC & MI have strong bowling but weak batting; RCB have weak batting & bowling while CSK, SRH & KXIP have strong batting & strong bowling. #IPL

KKR’s batting has combined high RR & BPW. SRH, KXIP, RR have been stable & scored at a healthy rate; CSK have been stable but not explosive. MI & DC have scored at a healthy rate but lost regular wickets. RCB have lost regular wickets & scored slowly. #IPL

In the Batting Powerplay SRH have been absurdly dominant. KKR have matched SRH's run rate but lost wickets at a more normal rate. MI, DC, RCB, KXIP & RR have hovered around the average performance. CSK have struggled - losing regular wickets & scoring slowly. #IPL

In the middle overs KXIP have been brilliant, combining high run rate & BPW. RR & DC have also been strong. KKR have scored quickly but has lost wickets at a typical rate. SRH have been middling. MI & RCB have struggled in terms of BPW; CSK have struggled in terms of RR. #IPL

At the death KKR have been stunning - scoring exceptionally quickly. MI have also scored fast. DC & to a lesser extent RCB have struggled. RR & SRH have hovered around the average performance. CSK have very rarely lost wickets but not scored particularly fast. #IPL

Against pace KKR have been dominant. RR, KXIP & SRH have scored at an average rate but rarely lost wickets. CSK have also rarely lost wickets but they’ve scored more slowly. RCB’s performance has been average. DC & to a lesser extent MI have struggled against the quicks. #IPL

Against spin KXIP, RR, SRH & DC have kept wickets in hand & scored at a good rate. CSK have also kept wickets in hand but scored more slowly. KKR have been the opposite - scoring very fast but being dismissed often. RCB & to a lesser extent RCB have struggled v spin. #IPL

DC, MI, CSK & SRH have been strong bowling teams while RR, RCB & KKR have been notably weaker. CSK & SRH have combined strong attack & defence. #IPL

In the Powerplay SRH, CSK & MI have combined attack & defence. DC have been strong attackers but quite expensive. KKR have maintained an okay ER but have struggled to take wickets. RCB, RR & KXIP have struggled in terms of attack & defence. #IPL

In the middle overs KKR have comfortably been the weakest team. RR have also struggled to control runs. RCB, KXIP & MI have been average performers. DC, SRH & especially CSK have been very strong in this middle phase. #IPL

At the death RR have clearly been the weakest team. SRH & RCB have also been quite expensive. KKR have been more economical but struggled to take wickets. MI have taken wickets but been expensive. KXIP, CSK & DC have been the standout teams at the death. #IPL

The pace bowlers of KKR, RCB & RR have struggled. KXIP have been average. DC, MI, CSK have been very strong. SRH have been relatively economical but have taken wickets at a slower rate than the average. #IPL

KKR’s spin attack - surprisingly - has struggled this season. MI’s spinners have remained fairly economical but struggled to take wickets. The spinners for RR, RCB, DC & KXIP have taken wickets but been a touch expensive. CSK & to a lesser extent SRH have been very strong. #IPL
